Name: Zachary Zakrzewski
nickname: Zak
age: 16
powers: Abnormal ability to control and create a strange spirit fire which is not drawn from the Great Flame or Blaze, and is usually transferred into a physical form and exhibits all the special traits of fire. However, something different might happen if one uses it in its raw form of spirit. A strange ability to sense the presence of others through development of appreviously amentioned ability. And the ability to grow stronger as he grows angry.
history/family: Zak's history is clouded in the mists of time, as he himself never knew much about his parents, or his powers, until a few years before the current date, except that they were from Arkansas. However, the story of his parents was a cruel one. Two young lovers, infatuated with each other, decide to make a mistake that would cause them hurt a life that they themselves produced. Nine months later, a baby was born, and was simply left behind as the two, ashamed of thier mistake, yet, not wanting to be persecuted for abortion by thier own parents, decide to simply run from thier troubles, thier hearts pounding hard as they leave the helpless baby, the mother literally being carried by the father as they had planned earlier that day.
A few days later, the boy would be taken in by a group of nuns in a catholic church, and in thier strictness, taught him all they knew about how a proper life should be, all the while still being kind and loving as nuns are known to be. And for a while, the boy embraced it, until a fateful night, when the boy was fourteen years old, he found himself upon the sidewalk beside the church, watching as a drunk man, who had become a close friend to him, self-consciously jumped into the middle of the road, ending his life for a lack of friends. Tears began to stream down the boys eyes as his green eyes turned red, flame streaming over his hands as anger overtook him, walking into the church and burning down a large portion of his room without knowing it, freaking out as he suddenly whited out. Days later, he awoke, as the nuns spoke of him as a demon, quickly leaving the room as they noticed him awaking and locked the door. It was that day when his life changed, from being overly strict and honest, to being loose, and somewhat ingenius about using techniques to escape locked rooms and such. All the time, the love and the kindness that the nuns showed him beforehand never left him. However, the persecution for his newfound power made him loathe them to a point to where, two years later, he eventually left the church by force, running out and leaving it for good...but not without noticing a letter in the mailbox near the church, which hadn't been touched. He looked inside, noticing that HIS name was on the list, himself opening it quickly and reading the letter. Quickly, the thought of a school for gifted people flashed in his mind as a good idea, him stuffing the letter in his pocket and running down the road, beginning his long journey to the school on foot. Soon, he met all sorts of people at Mountain View Academy, befriending many people, his first being a fire user, like himself, named Kyo. She was the first of his many friends, as he went though struggling to unlock and control his powers. He soon succeeded, becoming much stronger than before, while, at the same time, keeing a tight facet on his beliefs. Soon, he discovered the plot of the Great Flame, and made it his mission to stop it, joining Amber and her crew for the final battle before the time warp. However, for choosing what was right, he suffered a great price, losing his wife, Yulia, to the Great Flame's power. It was then that his righteous anger was unleashed, finishing the Great Flame with a storm-like falling of white flames down upon her. Soon, he found himself in the future, with no clue of what had caused him to be here, except that it had to do with that final battle. Despite losing Yulia, he lived like she would have wanted him to live...a loving, forgiving life, like he always has.
appearance: Red hair, green eyes, a red t-shirt, a black jacket, and a pair of torn blue-jeans, obviously about a year old, from the looks of it. His skin isn't all too much tanner than a normal cocasion adult. Black and red tennis shoes, obviously run down after much use, and a necklace with a silver cross on the end, the last remainder of where he grew up, and a golden ring on his finger, a reminder of his former wife...
personality:Zak is usually has a calm, laid back nature, a mixture of his teachings and his own personal beliefs, as he, unlike his teachers, doesn't persecute others for thier beliefs and morals. He does, however, state his opinion about the matter. He often prefers a one-on-one talk to many students listening to one teacher, an old preference he had picked up from his teachings, as well. However, rarely, he becomes short-tempered and serious, the strict nature of his teachers coming out. It is during these situations that his powers become thier most obvious, emerging in a flame of anger. However, this can occur the easiest when one of his friends, or someone of younger age or stature than himself, is threatened. He also has strong roots in his beliefs, as shown before the time gap, and, if pushed, will stick to his beliefs, no matter what the cost to his life.
in character sample: A light shade of yellow overshadowed the school in its warming nature as the Sun began to rise, causing the darkness to flee from its path as another figure came onto the scene, its shadow straying infront of him as the sun rose behind him, his green eyes straying onto the school not too far away, as well as the menacing gates nearby, that reminded him of the gates of his former home.
"Well, isn't this homey?" He would say, sarcastically as he kept on moving toward the school, the wind blowing his torn jeans back toward the sun, his red, scruffy hair responding the same way, both seemed to flow, slightly, as the boy hadn't cut his hair in a great while, due to a lack of scissors, and was now mid-length of that of a girls, and would have been longer, if the boy hadn't tried to burn it down a few months earlier, a few burned hairs upon his head, giving his hair black tips. Moments later, he would pass by the gate, his eyes sharpening on it as he then turned toward the doors.
He would then, casually, walk in, looking around at the large school, seeing certain students walk about and sometimes take a look at his obviously torn clothes, making him sigh as he looked down."Well, it looks like I need a change of clothes." He said, sighing as he walked off, in search of an office. Little did he know that this day, his life would be changed forever.
