*Name: Elijah
*Student
*age: unknown
*Race: seraph / fallen (born of the highest class of angel and the most condemned class of demon)
*Family: Two brothers, both dead. Mother and father were executed by heavon and hell respectively.
*Powers: manipulates light and dark spells. Wing amplifiers
**** Wing Amplification: Most of the time, Elijah looks like a normal human being with his wings' existances removed from the material plane. When they appear, they serve as amplifiers of the energy Elijah uses based on his emotions. When sad, forgiving, gratefull, or joyous, the wing of light serves to amplify the abilities of Elijah's light spells. When in wrath, lust, greed, envy, sloth, gluttony, or pride, the wing of darkness amplifies Elijah's dark magic. When the wings are out and Elijah is completely the master of himself, both are amplified, but no where near as much as either one of them would be by his emotions.
-the drawback: when one wing is dominant, the opposite effects occur on the other wing. i.e: when light = dominant, dark magic suffers and when dark = dominat, light magic suffers.
*Appearance:
Backstory (general knowledge, for IC actions):
Little is known about this apparent human. He is rumored to be an unparralleled inventor who uses occult knowledge to increace his technowlogy's effectiveness. He invented the first internal transdimentional- matter/antimatter generator. Even this uncertain.
Backstory(full-and complete for greater OOC understanding):
Once upon a time, a genious was born, who, seeking repentance for his own creation, and that of his two brothers, became a cleric in the Vatican. The boy lived in piece, dwelling within his prayers and his studdies which he hoped would benefit mankind
Then, one fateful day, his eldest brother appeared in siberia, wielding a demon weapon and sleighing innocents. The boy could hardly believe it when the Vatican gave him a choice: kill the brother and retrieve the demon weapon, or be excommunicated.
The boy was excommunicated and locked in a cell. Two years later, Both of his older brothers came to rescue him, the eldest with his sword, and the middle brother with his revolver. To survive, and, further, to rid the world of the scum that the rest of the world wouldn't, the brothers became an elite mercenary force.
After many battles and a heavy toll of grief and death, the brothers went to the sanctity of Mountain View Accademy.
When all of them found nothing different there but heart-break, they went their sepperate ways. James (the middle) stayed a mercenery. Melthas (the eldest) became a hermet in the mountains, perfecting his swordsmanship. Elijah became a scientist, attempting to put his destructive powers to the aid of humanity.
While James (half demon, half human) and Melthas (half angel, half human) both died of old age, the fully immortal Elijah aged a measly three years. Most of his inventions were pattented to people other than himself as a form of charity. He spent every second of every day repenting.
The instant his eldest brother, Melthas, died, Elijah's wings resonated, showing him the end of days, and that it will occur due to events at Mountain View Accademy, his old school and home of the world's most powerful entities. And so he has returned in an attempt to set things right.
** The controdiction: any time Elijah draws on the power of his wings, his cells try to tear themselves apart due to his body's dual nature as an angel and a demon. Thus, his greatest asset is also his greatest curse.
*Personality: Elijah, ironically, in spite of his own blood-stained past, condemns all use of magic for killing. He is mild, brilliant, quiet, and completely fond of humans as a species. Although a genious, he is also far sronger and more physically capable than he he appears.
I.C. Sample:
In the midst of a blazing sun, a figure walked his solemn way along a path. It wound and twisted, forked and converged. The entity's long, black cloak fell to the ground and dragged behind him, but this midnight stream was untattered, forming rippled on the stones and pebbles as it swept behind it.
The being stopped, hooded visage turning this way and that, surveying its surroundings. But I digress, the reader has yet to grasp that face or, for another matter, any detail on it.
The cloak was of a cloth so sturdy and well-woven that it appeared to be seemless leather. White engravings and mystic symbols were embroidered intricately on its surface by some master hand, surely not the boy of what appeared to be only eighteen years who wore it. Silvery hair and haunted gray eyes emerged from under the hood, and below that tired face hung a silver cross, set such that the black of the cloak shone through holes in it. Along the cloak were several straps, on which hung ancient looking tomes, presumably grimoirs. One wouldn't know it, but he had set out on a quest to save the world from oblivion. This is where his tale begins.
Elijah's gaze cought all his surroundings, which he attempted to remember from long ago... so very long ago. If he was correct, then with one more bend he would be at the portal that he had come through to leave MVA. That portal was something he had set up himself, leading to just outside the entry.
Ah MVA, a citadel for the hopes, dreams, and nightmares of the world. It was a place of relationships and their endings. Adventures and their failures. Two sides of a coin it was, the coin of the world. No one outside had realized it yet, but MVA would be both Earth's salvation and its destruction.
Few knew it better than Elijah. Elijah, who had dreampt of the end of days, had clearly seen one possible ending. He would do everything in his power to stop it.
When last he had been here, he was but a boy with no goals or ambitions. Now, rounding the final Bend, A man stepped through the portal with a purpose.
I will... two great wings ripped from his back, one an all-obsorbing black, the other a radiant white save this place!!
