Name: Ryan Vanderburg
Nickname: Ry, Fix-it, Toolbox
Age: 19
Is this a teacher? (If so state subject): no
power(3 max): Can repair or revert the state of anything with his mind, he is limited to not being able to restore life itself. Mild telekinesis. Influence over animals.
History/family: Ryan is the key of his father's business's success. His father is a carpenter and repair man, moreso a carpenter. While Ryan can help many people with his power he feels that him and his clients are extorted by his father. They charge five-thousand dollars to fix a burned down home, a service which the only real expense is transportation and the half hour spent repairing.
Ryan is at a business-only relationship with his father now. His father broke Ryan's dog's leg as punishment for not fixing a dent in the family car. The dog's leg was easily mended in a few minutes time, but Ryan never forgave his father for attacking his best friend who follows him to this day. He threatened his father that if he ever attacked him or those close to him as persuasion he would revert the building back to the rubble and trees it started as so the roof would collapse on him.
Ralph is a mix of multiple breeds of large light-brown dog, so much that no one is sure what breeds went into making him. Ryan raised him from a puppy and established a series of sounds that acts as a language through his power that allows Ralph to communicate to Ryan.
Appearance: See siggy
Personality: Ryan is far too over trusting and has a hard time saying no to anyone. He likes to fix things that have meaning, and almost repaired the Liberty Bell and Leaning Tower as a child. He does not like to leave Ralph alone, because he cares for him so deeply. He would even sacrifice a meal to make sure Ralph eats.
In-character Sample: A pattern of barks rang out an open window as Ryan drove with Ralph to a job across town. Broken door, a hundred dollar job. "Extortionist," He scoffed thinking about the young couple who would be out the money. His thoughts were interupted as two cars collided infront of him. Ryan hit the brakes hard, nearly making Ralph fall over. He put the car in park and ran over to the crash scene. There was front damage to one car, and driver seat area damage to the other. A woman was in the passanger seat screaming. There was a man practically cut in half at the waist next to her. Ryan elbowed away to remaining car window to access the man. "Hold on, hes still alive, I can save him." Ryan touched the blood covered head of the man and his body began to reattach.
Ten minutes later Ryan started walking away from the scene, the man was crying with his fiance in their completely perfect car as the drunk driver of the other car with a smashed in front end was arrested. He sat down in the seat of his own car next to Ralph. "Think Dad will be mad that I was late?" At that moment his phone rang from his pocket with the caller ID reading "Extortionist."
