Sidra sighed thinking as she pulled out her own chair and sat down. "Well, it depends, do you want it to be classy or do you want it to be intamant?" she asked him looking up at him with a look of thought across her face. Sidra grumbled out something and took some pasta and set it on to her plate. "ya ready?" she asked him looking from him to the seat he was standing behind. "and i also guess the real question is do you want to be entamant...." she glowed and blushed lightly but quickly sook it offf and began messing with her food.

"Well, it depends, do you want it to be classy or do you want it to be intament?"
Chris smiles faintly, pulling the chair out that he had been standing behind and seating himself. He moved his plate and scooped a little of the pasta onto it. As he was about to reach for the bread he heard the other part of what Sidra said.
"and i also guess the real question is do you want to be entamant...."
Chris looked up into Sidra's eyes. Seeing her blush he looked away, not really knowing what to say. "Well, ummmm... I-" he stopped, not really knowing how to respond. He had never actually been in a relationship before. And his parents had never even talked about dating and the like.
Now that he thought about it, he did find Sidra to be attractive, even if that was not the first thing he noticed about her. The first thing he had noticed of course being that she was a very kind person. And, at least up sofar as to this moment, he liked being around her. But the thought had never once crossed his mind about becomming intament with anyone.
Unfortunately, now that the thought had been introduced into his mind he could not help but to realize that perhaps he would like to be intament with this girl. At least perhaps he could give it a try...
But Chris was not one to be forward with others. Nor was he good at speaking his mind. To put it kindly he was not at all a people person. Ad to top it all off he was very shy... So when he looked back up at Sidra he looked very nervious and somewhat confused. "I-i don't really know..." he says, his voice quite low showing just how unsure of himself he really was.

Sidra looked at him she couldnt help but think how cute he was acting. "Well if your not shure than lets to both" she smiled to him standing up and going back to a cubbard and pulling out a couple of fat round candles. "The've already been used, but i think the'll do" she said to him blowing the dust off of them. She walked back over to the table and set them down on to it. A pair of the floating little balls of light drifted down to them and ignited them in a light blue flame. "This is nice wouldnt you think?" Sidra refused to beleve that she was crushing on this boy, yes she fell for people easly, thats why she didnt got out verry much. Most of the time it faded away and the other person never found out. Sidra knew though, that chris as saw through her words and had found out...

"Well if your not shure than lets to both"
"O-okay." Chris says, trying to calm back down his nerves. Just as fast as Sidra had asked this she seemed to have skipped over it. But the thought still remained in the back of his mind. He watched as she placed the candles on the table and they were lit by the floating orbs of light. Now that he was in that frame of mind he could not help notice that the setting was very romantic.
"This is nice wouldnt you think?"
"Yeah, it is quite beautiful..." he said. A little voice in the back of his mind was goading him to add *Just like you...* but he shrugged it off. While he might be willing to think that the girl before him was quite attractive he was nowhere near curageous enough to say it aloud...

Sidra gave a light giggel from his comment. "Thanks, i think" she smiled to him looking up at him with her star lit eyes. She couldnt help but blush at the color of his eyes. 'Beautiful..' that word lingered in her head as she stared at him unknowingly. His eyes amazed her, they were the perfict green color that the grass would get after a long hard rain. "Im glad...you liked...it...." she mumbled out she seemed to be getting lost. Sidra quickly shook her head and laughed, "The foods getting cold" she smiled to him happily.

As Sidra's eyes locked on his it made him a little nervous. While het own eyes were something that he could easily get lost in it embarassed him a little that he was thinking that and that she was gazing so intently upon him. He averted his gaze and began to play with his food a little untill she spoke up again.
"The foods getting cold"
"Oh, right, the food." he says, smiling in slight embarassment and looking down at the pasta before him. He never had grabbed the bread as he had planned. He takes a small bite of the pasta and smiles up at Sidra. "Well, the pasta turned out pretty good..." he says, in a quite lame attempt to make small talk. He was trying to find something to talk about to keep himself from thinking too overly much. Something about the fact that his heart seemed to be beating a thousand miles a second made it hard for him to think too clearly...

Sidra took a bite of the pasta and nodded. "Yea, realy good..." she said muffled slightly as she slirped down the noodles. "What was the stuff you put in it?" she asked him as she tore of a peace of bread. Her chest felt funny, and it felt like somthing just droped in to the pit of her stomach and then jumped up in to her throat. "You are a good cook though" she said with a refined smile, the fact that she was glowing showed her real smile, her real feelings.

Chris smiles faintly at the compliment. "Just some herbs I like from my home. Can't find them around here, that is why I have to grow them myself." he says, his tone returning now to normal. "And thank you. It was something I picked up while living away from the cities. You have to learn to live with your own cooking so I figured I might as well learn to do it right." he says with a grin, happy that she liked them.
He was becoming comfortable again, even though those same thoughts lingered in the back of his mind he was becomming comfortable with being around Sidra without being ackward. He is smiling happily and his eyes sparkle as he speaks.

Sidra gave a nod, she felt the change in him and was more content with it. "Yea, you lived in the foriest. what was that like? what kind of animals where there? i herd there are thousands of animals living in rainforiest and still thousands more that have yet to be discoverd" this fact absolutely amazed Sidra, her the stars in her eyes sparkeled happily. Sidra looked at the oil and wondered what it was for...she looked at the bread in her hand and then diped it in the oil and ate it. "MMMM!" she moaned out. Though it was somthing simple it was good.

Chris's eyes seemed to begin to glow as she asked about his home. "Well, where we lived there was not much light. We did after all live in the heart of the forest. My parents were away most of the time so I more often than not was alone. There were more plants there then I can even hope to name." he says, his voice starting to sound mildly nastalgic.
"As for the animals, they were everywhere. Not like out here where you have to go looking for them, or they are in cages. You could not turn a corner without finding a snake, a monkey, and thousands of insects." he says with a light grin. "But there was nothing really to be worried about. They were not afraid of us so the only thing we had to do was watch out for the poisonous ones or the predators." he says, shrugging with an odd smile.

"I would have loved to live in a place that exciteing and beautiful. i realy would have." she laughed. "But i went out traveling a wile back, i just went where hermies could take me." she shruged lightly the glow that radeated from her brightend slightly, casting funny shaddows on the wall.

"Thats cute of you..."
Hearing that made Chris blush all the more. "T-thank you..." he says, smiling lightly in embarrassment. "Sorry, I am just a bit flustered at the moment..." he says, trying to stop a silence before it can start. He usually has a problem with starting conversation after they have stopped.

She smiled sweetly to him and she looked up at his brillant green eyes "No...no its fine..." she said blushing her self and then looking away. "But that would be absolutely wonderful seeing where you grew up...it would" she nodded, smieling lightly.

Chris grins faintly, looking away for a moment. "Well, it would be nice to have some company too..." he said, his voice being again very soft. In his opinion that was a very bold thing to say, and it was with some difficulty that he said it. He did not really feel comfortable being any more forward than he had just been.

Chris looks up at Sidra, smiling shyly "I... I would like that alot." He says, smiling lightly as he finishes off his own pasta. He looks over at Sidra's plate, which seemed to be empty and motions towards it lightly. "Would you like me to take that?" He asks, motioning that he was willing to wash the dishes from their meal for her.

Chris smiles, "It was quite good. " He says, washing the dishes that are near him. About then is when he notices how close Sidra is to him. So close that it allmost seemed as though he could feel the heat of her body emminating towards him. A part of him wanted to reach out and embrace her, to hold her close to him and he could not tell why. But there was something that seemed to lure him to her, and he could not quite place what it was...

Sidra looked up at him with a slight wonder in her eyes. She felt like she should have jumped back away from him with he discovered her so close to him...but she didnt, her feet, her body didnt want to move. She wanted to stay there close to him. "ha...thats good" she smiled looking down at the clean dishes. "ill...ill put them up now..." She wanted to touch him, to hug him, to hear his heart beat and know that she wasnt as alone as she truely thought.

Chris gazes out the window, trying to clear his mind. He was not used to not being able to think clearly, especially if it was because of someone else. Now, normally, Scion would have just left if he was not comfortable with the situation. But the problem was. He did not want to leave. As a matter of fact he wanted nothing more than to stay there with Sidra. And perhaps that, above everything else, was what was beginning to scare him.

Sidra let out a light sigh, not an anoyed one, but one to her self saying it was time to move. Her feet still wouldnt budge. Luckily the cabnets where the plates went were in a moderate reach. She opend them up as she streched across the counter and began putting the plates in one by one. Hopefully the odd angle will make her feet move or else she might fall...

Chris continues to clean the dishes, watching Sidra every moment or two out of the corner of his eye... He felt drawn towards her, and that was most certainly not something that he was used to. He watches as she leans to put away the dishes, seeing the odd angle that she is at. Suddenly he is filled with immense worry that she might fall. This confuses Chris as he is not used to having the slightest bit of care for other peoples well being... As a matter of fact he was know to feel the exact opposite way from time to time. But with Sidra... This was just not the case...
He waits to see if she will be just fine, but tenses slightly. Ready to catch her should she lose her balance...

Sidra only had to strech out a bit more and she would be able to fall flat on her face, and possibly knock her head on the marble top. Unfortuantly to her demise, she did slip and do igzactly as i just described. Hopefully some one caught her before she smashed her scull open on the marble table. Hopefully

Chris could see the signs, and his reactions were perfect. He drops the dish in his hand into the sink full of water, hopeing in the back of his mind that it does not break as he does so. He reaches out and snakes one hand around Sidra's waist, pulling her towards him. As he does so his other hand interlaces with hers, and he pulls her into his arms. The movement was swift and silent, only the splash of the plate into the water could be heard, and perhaps a sharp inhalation of breath as he moved into action.
Before the plate even reaches the bottom of the sink he has her in his arms. He lets out a quiet release of breath, still holding Sidra in his arms. "Are you allright?" he asks...

Sirda's head felt dizzy, it was baffeling, all she rememberd was seeing things going blurry as she began to fall and then being held safely in chris's arms. She let out a breath, amazed. He caught her so elqently all before she could think to breath and let out a hollar. Sidra turned her head, her cheeks were flushed and her skin was shineing out stars, litterally. Drops of light poored out of her. "Thank-Thankyou" she mumbled out quietly still awstruck.

Chris averted his eyes when he saw how flushed she was... "Your welcome..." he says softly, not meeting her gaze. He still held her in his arms, lightly though, so that if she wanted to move away she could. But a part of him hoped that she wouldn't. Hoped that she would stay... At least for a moment. It felt so right to have her standing there in his arms... He almost didn't want it to end...
