Roulette sat in the casino. Shark had told her that he had things to do for a while, and Jack- as usual- sat in his room and read a book about god knows what. Roulette was left in charge of the Casino while they were 'busy'. She sighed. She walked up to the large mirror covering the entire back wall, and looked at herself. She wasn't vain, in fact, she destested her power. She pulled and tugged at her face to try and make herself look normal. "Troublesome..." She sighed. Turning around, she pulled a hoodie off of the back of the chair she was previously sitting on. She put it on, pulling the hood up to cover her hair and her forehead. "Where are those goggles..." She wondered, looking around for a while before finally discovering they were in her pocket the entire time. She slipped them over her eyes and around her head. Turning around to face the mirror again she found that she was unrecognizable to those that didn't know of her charades. "There!" She smiled at her covered face, "Now People won't notice..."

Drew lurched into the casino, breathing heavily and gripping his shoulder tightly. The reason for the lurch was that his foot had been almost completely ripped away at the ankle and he was so tired now that his regeneration had slowed alarmingly. His shoulder was bleeding from a accidentally self-inflicted wound a few minutes ago. He stumbled against a railing, holding it for support then slowly slid down it, closing his eyes and waiting for his foot to start mending itself.

Roulette turned and blinked at him from underneath her goggles and hoodie. "Who are you?" She asked, "You 'aight kid or do you need FAK?? Ten bucks and i'll get you a bandaid." She smirked, "Come in here and take a seat, you'll kill yourself out there." She walked over to him and smiled, "Don't think badly of me i was only joking"

"Trust me," Drew replied, groaning, "I wish you weren't." He struggled too his feet again and looked down at his ankle. "It's still hurt," he said, with considerable surprise. "It shouldn't be. It's never taken this long before..." he added, sounding pretty worried.

Roulette tilted her head to the side, "What, are you a healer or something?" She wondered... (one liner, sorry)

"I don't know. A regenerators or something." Drew said, limping over to a proper seat. He collapsed into it, slouching with his legs stuck far out in front of him. He looked around him, "Ist hia a casino then? Nice."

"Yeah. It is. It was a real bang-up when we first got it, but once i joined them, we fixed it up real nice" She smiled, "Name's Roulette" She smiled, her eyes not visible underneath her (strange combination of) goggles and hoodie.

Drew held out his hand to her and shook hers, "Name's Drew. I'd kiss your hand, but I'm not fit for it." He sat back against the chair and closed his eyes, "Are you open then? I feel like placing a bet on something."

"Yeah we are open..." Roulette said, with an aggitated sigh at his little remark. Thankfully, she had noticed that he wasnt completely obsessive over her appearance. It was because of her habit of hiding it. She didn't want people to see her for her looks, she wanted to be seen for Her. "Would you like to visit our slot machines, the illegal pool table in the back (don't ask), a black jack table, or maybe normal poker? the roulettes are at the far left. and kiddies can play go-fish wherever they like." She listed off, boredly.

Drew gave her a non-plussed look, "Pool is illegal? What the fuck? Wait, no. You said not to ask." he shook his head, "Uh, roulette sounds good. Minimal effort and all."

Roulette smiled, "Roulette it is!" She grinned, before leaving she turned around and asked, "Do you need a crutch or something?" She wondered, raising an eyebrow.

Drew looked down at his leg and said, "Well, yeah. That'd be good." he said, sounding rather embarrassed by it. "I don't normally do this, you know. I mean, just wander into places half dead and demand crutches and shit. I mean, uh..." He trailed, scratching his head, "You know what? Nevermind."

Roulette put her hand on her hip, "So you want a crutch or not??" She asked again sounding confused.

"Yeah, I do want a crutch." he said scratching his head again and looking even more embarrassed.

Roulette nodded, "Alrighty then..." She smiled, walking off to grab a crutch she kept in the far closet just in case someone got beaten up after one was caught cheating. It was bloodstained at the handle. "Here ya go." she said, "Comon, Roulettes over there." She pointing and began walking...

It took Drew a few tries to get used to the crutch and to hold it right but he got it in the end and hobbled after Roulette, trying not to trip over anything and die in some useless way. It might prove more fatal than usual, given the circumstances.

Roulette turned back to look at him through her goggles as they arrived at the roulette section. A dozen or so spinning wheels were laid about the room, with tables at one end of each. She pulled her hood further down over her forehead quickly before gesturing to the area. "I'll be the dealer. Would you like some chips? or would you prefer gambling with cold cash?" she smiled.

Drew rummaged in his pockets and drew out a fistful of banknotes, all in fives and tens. They were slightly bloodstained. "Uh, I have these. Hope you don't mind the, uh... Yeah." he said, peeling the notes apart.

Roulette grinned, "Dont worry, that's not exactly unusual here. Rough part of town i'm sure you've realised," She laughed, "But hey. Money is money, no matter where people get it. How much will you be betting on your first go?" She fished in her pocket and pulled out a small sphere to go into the roulette. "And what number will you bet for??"

"About twenty to start with it. I may as well spend it all quickly, not like I'll do anything better with it. Well, except buy guns, but if all else fails I can always beat people to death with my own body parts, so..." Drew shrugged again and gave her a twenty.

"Number thirteen, if you don't mind." Drew said, showing an out of place piece of politeness. He leaned on the table for support, but made it look somewhat casual instead.

Roulette sighed, "Alright." She said, putting on a smile. She placed the roulette on the blank point, and with a graceful hand, spun the roulette. She waited to see which number it would land on...

As was usual, Drew's luck failed him and the little ball ended nowhere near his chosen number. This didn't surprise him and he passed another twenty to Roulette. "Same number."

Roulette sighed, "Sure no problem," She said casually, placing his old twenty in her pocket and placing the other on the table once more. She readjusted her ball and gave it another spin... "The wheel of excitement huh?" She commented...
