Board Rules
You MUST, MUST put your character description on the "Character Profile Application" board following the template.
Pictures in signatures may not be wider(side to side) than 805 pixels. However, when you have multiple pictures, if they are lined up side to side, they may not exceed that limit though you may stack them vertically to avoid exceeding the width limit. If you see this being broken, alert an admin. If you feel you may be doing this, ask Blaze Blynd (tremor) for help with reduction.
Do not post as guest accounts except for on the guest board.
On the absence board there will be no replying by non-administrative members. All you must do is create a thread on the board about how long you will be gone, thats it, no further posting except for when you return, please just say that you have returned, and that is all, no further posting about it or if you are someone who has been informed they will be gone for a longer time and must post for them.
Only post something wrong with the forum's mechanics on the Complaint board. Only reply if the same forum screw up is affecting you as well, replies must be relevant.
If you join and do not post ANYTHING (except your description) within 2 days of activation or email the admin stating you cannot post yet but you will soon, we will think you are not a serious member and your account is subject to deletion.
Don't get into detail on certain character 'Relations'. If a character is gettin' jiggy with it, please be courteous and not actually say the words about what went where. Threads pertaining to that will have two asterisks ** following the title. If you see this rule being broken please alert an Admin immediately.
Only those who has achieved a senior amount of posts (1500) per account may have up to 4 character powers.
No account that has not gotten an approved character may post except for making a character applications. Some situations may be exempted. Example: Making a separate account for a character instead of having a single account for multiples. Alert an Admin if you see this rule being broken.
To admin: Only Kat, Tremor, or accounts belonging to them may change the rules, those that break this will lose their Admin privileges.
Advertising Rules
If you advertise MVA on another website/forum, please use an advertisement on the "Media + Graphics" board, following coding directions on the "codes" thread on that board. Also you must keep MVA's good name. Try to avoid advertising to children.
You may advertise a website/forum on MVA as long as greater or equal advertisement for MVA on the other website/forum. Just do not make exaggerate the amount of advertising on MVA.
Behavioral Expectations
Do not harass any members whether it be through PM OR OOC on a thread OR on the chat OR when off the forum if it deals with conflict that pertains to this forum.
Try and keep the swearing at a minimum, we say a minimum so we don't have people saying "Those f'ing f's f'ed that f'er." No excessiveness, its childish.
Do not randomly jump into a thread that is already in a good amount of progress unless invited in. Don't ask to be invited in, unless you feel your character has relevance.
RP General Rules

Use of quotes is required for speech. Italics or single quotes can be specified for thoughts.
Do not powerplay or god mod. No need for it. (Their is an on going plot creators, they are viewed as a type of god, but should never take things too far if not involved in a subplot.)
No killing or mutilating another person's character's without their consent, no "ifs" "ans" or "buts". If your character is killed without your consent, stop RPing on that thread and contact an admin.
Avoid one-liners as well as you can, though we understand the concept of writer's block.
