The figure stood at the peek of the mountain, black coat billowing around him in the winds that came with the altitude. From this hight one could almost reach out and touch the human-generated filth that had engulfed the entire globe. It twisted and wrothe like a serpent that had already constricted its prey.
Div needed others. Sure, he could technically destroy the earth in a heartbeat if he unleashed some of the spells that he had created, but instant destruction wasn't the purpose. This was to be a slow purge, with the gems of humanity rising above the filth to save the day, and the demon would make sure that that happened. It needed to be a war, not a slaughter.
To that end, Div calculated that for this to occur, he would need to plan out his steps carefully before bringing down a heavy blow that would be the first in a planet-wide struggle. The half-demon needed things that were persecuted against by the filth, beings that had only found compassion at MVA. Only they could understand that this was necessary, and furthermore, would be hated enough by the humans for them to take action.
He smiled. BANE was right, for MVA would have to be the starting point.
The master of the dark arts began to speek, his voice seeping into the minds of all those born in darkness.
[glow=purple,2,300]Creatures of darkness, children of the night... the human plague in these past hundred years has grown thick and decadent, gaining in both size and audacity.[/glow]
The shadows around Div began to condense and harden. He himself drew his runesword, which began to glow an unearthly green light. The shadows formed a hard armor, and lightning rent out accross the heavons in all directions from his sword.
[glow=purple,2,300]They swarm about the globe with insect-like glee, devouring hopes and dreams while Forgetting to give anything back. We shall suffer this filth no more... soon.[/glow]
The shadows that had formed around Div began to dribble upwards, forming a three-pointed crown with three glowing orbs where his own electric aura came to the surface. The eyes glowed a blood red as the demon within him came to the survace, both of them speeking with that voice. For once, they were in alignment.
[glow=red,2,300]Suffice to say that some shall be spared... the ones who are pure enough to not destroy their own plannet and bretheren for personal benefit... but all the others shall find no rest in these years to come.[/glow]
Holding the blade out towards the horizon, Div folded his wings behind him, like a great, black cape. His voice softened to a warm, dark tone as he continued.
[glow=purple,2,300]I know you have noticed that which I speak of... but you, WE are all involved in this now, whether we want to be or not by the human race's volition. We live on this planet, as do they. Shall we watch as it is destroyed? Will we sit idly by and watch our world become devoured? I will not. I will not stand for it as my bretheren and this Earth are crushed under human tyrany.[/glow]
Div's new appearance had a sort of grim majesty, with the glowing red of his eyes seeming to exibit more warmth than evil.
[glow=red,2,300]We must put a stop to this. No one else will. Even the protector of world, Tremmer has done nothing as mankind rotted away the world he was supposed to protect. The burden should then fall upon us, the beings who have the most cause to be worried. We have been pushed to the brink of extinction, making a home in a school of all places. A SCHOOL![/glow]
He began chuckling to himself,
[glow=red,2,300]HAHAHAHAHAHAhahaha ha *ehem*. It's laughable. However, how can we assure that those left in the human race are worthy? I seek your council. Meet me at the heart of the mountain range just outside of the school, and we shall discuss what is to be done. If you do not have the stomache for such a thing, then I ask that you refrain from telling others until we have actually taken an action that amounts to a transgression against others.[/glow]
He lowered his blade and shiethed it, then folded his arms and looked out over the world. His grim contenance and bearing as he gazed out accross the expanses gave him the appearance of some grim judge sent to pass a verdict upon the world. But it was his dark bretheren who would do that. They who had been persecuted and shunned would be the ones to do it.
