Erin wandered out of the changing room of the gym, looking around for something to do. She was in her sporty gear, with oversized tracksuit pants and a middriff-baring tanktop that showed off her copious amount of tattoos. She had left her earrings, nose and eyebrow piercing in her bag though, in case tehy got caught on anything.
She stretched then went on the search for something to do. She wasn't really bothered to do a proper workout though.

Tek walked into the gymn, an interesting part of the school he had never explored before. It seemed to be this realms incarnation of the training rooms he had had used so much in his own world. He was dressed in black jeans and a black, unzipped, sleeveless jacket, revealing his bare chest and arms which were covered in strange, black tribal tattoos that looked like lightening on his body.
With a sigh, he tredged across the threshold, bored already upon entering.

Erin yawned and closed her eyes, nearly walking into him. She stepped back neatly, putting up her hands. "Whoah, man," she said, "Didn't see you there." She looked him up and down, "Nice tattoos by the way."

Tek took a step back when she appeared in front of him. He hadn't seen her there. He glanced at his body as she spoke, looking at the black lines that marked him, "Thanks..." He said, looking back at her, "Same to you."
He shook his head and brought a quiet smile to his face. Well, he hadn't expected an encounter here, but sometimes good things come when you don't expect them.

Erin looked down at her own tattoos. "Yeah, I know," she said proudly, "My sister drew them for me specially and this own guy I know put 'em on. My sister is a total hippie, but she's a really good artist." She pointed to one on her side that continued down under the waistband of her pants. "I especially like this one, but only my gynecologist sees the rest," she added with a grin.

Tek looked confused for a moment, perplexed by the strange word she had spoken. Then he remembered one particularly awkward conversation he had had at a doctor's office once. He laughed then, not a loud laugh, of course, for nothing he did was loud. His quiet smile grew, gained some essense of a smirk.
"Well, if only your gynecologist can see it, what, exactly, is the point of having it?" He asked, still wondering why it was that they called them 'gynecologists'.

"Well, the idea is that someone else can, if they're lucky. Besides, I was going out with him at the time, I thought I should give him something else fun to look at. Plus, it nearly gave the tattooist a heart attack, so hey, why not? I get my kicks how I like." she said, grinning.

At this, Tek grew confused. He understood the innuendo, but some quiestions picked at him, "Why, exactly," He asked, "Did the tattooist nearly have a heart attack? He's a tattooist; I would assume he'd dealt with that area before. Is the tattoo disturbing? And who were you going out with at the time?" She had answered one of his questions but only opened up more.

"Usually they don't have to tattoo down that low. And he just wasn't expecting the way I went about asking. But I'm not telling you that, a girl has gotta have her secrets she said and laughed, "But I was going with... Oh... This mercenary, I think. But then I dumped her for the gynecologist because she was boring me."

Tek noticed the 'her', noticed the apparent orientation, but made no comment about it. It was a common thing, back in his realm, and wasn't something people made a very big deal about, "I suppose everybody has their secrets," He said with a smile, "And boredom has always been the biggest end for any my relationships. And the end of a few lives at my hand. I rarely enjoy things staying the same."

"I had to dump that gynecologist though, which sucks. He was good, but he was was so glingy. It was stupid, seeing as how he spends his days sticking his hand in ladies underwear," she said, rolling her eye. "And personally, I just like to fuck with shit. The world is a lot more fun when you shake it like a snowglobe but you gotta leave people alive to hear them squawk."

Tek laughed, "I full heartedly agree, but sometimes the squawking just pisses you off. I kill for what I need, for what I want, and only do it as a last resort. I find I can usually get more out of them alive. Spread a little chaos, sow a little disorder, and watch them all freak out. Take what I want in the hustle, then watch the world burn," His eyes got a far-off expression as he spoke, then snapped back to reality, smiling at her.
"By the way, I never introduced myself. My name is Tekkeim Benezier, but you can just call me Tek. I'm a bit of a mercenary myself," He extended his tattoo-covered hand towards her.

She shook his hand firmly. "I'm Erin Emerald. I am whatever I want to be, providing the price is good and that at least one other person doesn't want me to be,." she added, smiling jokily. "So, you here to buff up for your girlfriend or just bored?"

"I'm here to learn about the training and strength of the various humans. So, yeah, just bored. I don't have a girlfriend. Haven't anybody good enough, to be frank. This species is interesting, but they're too serious, too fake, and too stupid. Most I've met are, anyways," Tek spoke with the quiet smile on his face and in his voice, "And you're here because...?"

"I'm here because my only other options are either taking care of my gimpy sister or fucking my best friend's boyfriend. The first is never going to happen when I have a say in it, and the second is only fun when she;s there too. Otherwise it'd just feel like I was cheating with him, and I don't want to do that to my friend, y'know? Plus, I like sports. Oh, of course everyone's fake. If people like they really want to you think we'd be surrounded by this bullshit? It's all self-defence of the mind because they think being weird is baaad."

"It's all a pathetic ruse that has led to the inevitable social degeneration of this pathetic world, a stupid act of order covering up the chaos that this race reaks with. These people may seem more advanced than mine on the outside, but at least my people show who the are," Tek shook his long, blue-streaked hair, a fire burning in his eyes for a moment. He closed them, and gave a sigh as he opened them back up, the fire gone, "Seriously, what the hell is the matter with being a little werd?"

"It pisses people off because they know it's just how you really are and they want to be like that too, but they just don't have enough balls to go for it. So they don't like weird people because they want to be them and don't want to admit it to themselves. It's seriously bizarre, and flaming stupid."

"Huh. You know, Erin, you may be the first person I've met here that actually seems to have some sense," Tek said with a bit of a laugh. He leaned against a wall to his left, "And I understand that whole concept. Many people wanted to be like me back in my realm. Most tried to kill me because of it. The only difference was that being like me wasn't a matter of having balls. But that's another story."

"Thanks, Tek. I don't hear that enough! she laughed. "Being like me though would require not only balls, but ones of fucking steel." she said, smiling to show she was just joking. "So, what's so great about you that they wanted to copy you?"

Tek shook his head, "Well... It's kind of hard to explain. See, everybody in my realm knows about it. There are these people called Binders, people with the special power to fuse with other creatures, body and soul. The last of them died out centuries ago, but then I was born. Binders are people of legend, you see. Along with their power of fusion, they have naturally heightened abilities in magic, natural strength, speed. They are our heroes, the things of our tales. And then I came along. The first and only of these powerful beings to walk the world in centuries. Damn straight they were jealous."

"Sounds like a fun power at least, and chances are if you've got all that, you can take 'em anyways. Personally I just have Pyrokinesis, and that's so fucking common you could spit in the street and hit one of us. I can make Fireon though."

Tek shrugged, "Having a common ability isn't so bad. So long as you can best everybody else at it. And what, might I ask," He cocked an eyebrow at her, obviously curious, "What, exactly, is fireon?"

"It's a metal made of fire. It's this-" she held up her hand and covered it in flame. The flame began to harden and grew long and sharper until a red, transparent sword was protruding from her wrist, covering her hand. "This is just rough though. To have it working effectively you have to refine it. It does more than swords though." As if to prove her point the sword split and grew, changing into a large gun. "It either shoots Fireon bullets, or fireballs," she said, grinning. "Scares the shit out of people when they don't expect it."

Tek looked at the metal, reached out his mind to touch it, examined it, came away slightly puzzled, "That's unlike any other metal I've ever seen," He said, confused, "I can't... I don't..." As if to clarify, he held out his arm. Metal formed, covering his arm in long spirals that ended in three short blades over his fingers, "I can control metal. It's a magic common among my people. But... I can't seem to control that..."

"Well, it's fire at the same time. So unless you can use fire you wouldn't be able to. And don't touch it properly, okay? It could set you on fire or something, really annoying like that. Tends to do that to non-pyros. You'd have to ask my little sister about it though."

Tek scratched his head, still a little confused and overly curious, but now satisfied as to at least why he couldn't use it. Almost, "Well, I can use magic to control fire," He said, his brows furrowing, "And, as I said, I'm damn good at magic. But, I suppose I'm not quite at the same caliber as a pyro. Anyways... Who's your sister? And why would I ask her?"

"Oh, she fancies herself as a scientist. She does a lot research with this stuff and she's almost as good as me at using it. She's trying to figure out how it works and why and lah-di-dah stuff like that, you know what I mean? She's pretty smart for a kid," Erin said, a distinct note of pride in her voice, "But don't tell her I said that, right? She'll never let me live it down.

Tek smiled. He didn't understand siblings and their ways, for he had never had any. Or, maybe he had, but if he did, he didn't know about them. So the pitiful way they competed with each other, the pride they shared with each other knocked down by the distaste they showed around each other, he didn't understand he much. He understood rivals, though, and had always equated siblings to those, "Ah, don't worry, I won't," He said.

"Good. I don't want the little twit getting a big head. She's already got a huge ego." Erin said then shrugged, "Love her to bits though. Hey, feel up to doing something other than talking?"

Tek cocked an eyebrow, then leaned back against the wall. He crossed his arms, looked down, shook his head, and laughed a little, "Wow, you don't waste any time getting to know someone, do you?" He asked, smirking. He had thought it when he met her; Talking wasn't her thing.
He figured it a redundant question; he thought he already knew the answer, but he asked anyways, "What, exactly, did you have in mind?"
