It was a cold night, the rain pouring down as the clouds covered up the moon's embracing light, as the onpour fell down ontop of the abandoned building, now ninety years older than when the current figure standing on it had been here. His green eyes, which seemed to dim as he looked out to the cold horizon, looked saddened by something. It was as if he was reliving a past moment...long ago, ninety years, infact, and he was feeling the exact same. Sure, he believed in himself, he knew he could fight, but something in head told him that his failure was beginning to consume him. However, he shook off the thought, knowing it was from his enemy, either himself, or perhaps one of the devil's messengers to make him doubt himself. Even so, just his memories were enough to do that, as in his mind, he recalled his losses against Talon, and how everyone he knew was beginning to turn on him. Amber, this girl called Jennifer...he was sure there were others, like the girl named Amy. Even so, he looked out onto the horizon, hoping to see something other than the darkened sky. It had been that hope which had been keeping him alive all this time, the hope of a new light. Little did he knew, that like before, the light in the darkness was him, as, right now, his entire body seemed to glow as it seemed as if there was a fire inside of him, making his entire body glow as even his black leather jacket glowed, his red t-shirt glowing as well as the cross on his neck reflected the glow outwards, making a sort of sun-beam like glow. As of now, he was the only one openly against Talon, and everyone knew it, as they seemed to either critisize, harm, or want to lead him into a trap. He continued to stand out in the cold...wondering what else would come and torture him this night, out in the cold rain...

Amy shifted around a corner and she stood there staring at Zak, "Gotcha." she whispered, "I'll finally have my answers about Talon." She shifted her skirt around a little and adjusted her top before approaching him from behind, "Hello. Zak, Is it?" she asked in a melodious voice.

Zak would frown, not even moving from his spot of looking out toward the horizon as he spoke, his green eyes closing."Hello, Amy, I believe. And yes, its Zak." He said, simply as his body continued to glow, the rain hitting furiously on his body as his red hair still managed to spike upward at its tips, despite the downpour."What is it you want? I know you want to know something." He simply said, somewhat emotionlessly. He was so angry with himself...but he was not going to let it interfere with his conversation.

"I came to you for answers." Amy smiled, her hair drenching down and her skirt fluttering slightly. "I have questions about Talon." she said in a darker voice.

"I see. I will answer all I can. I don't know much, he seems to be able to manipulate every situation, and therefore, keeps most of the information he has away from me." He said, sighing as he turned toward her slowly, his green eyes now looking back into hers as they were not sharpened as if he was wary...more along the lines of a saddened look...

Amy smirked as she stared back at him, "Tell me all you know about the Scythe." she asked in a harsh voice, Remembering her previous encounter with the demonic creature. She shivered but blamed it on the rain.

"The scythe....I don't know much. Besides the fact that it can absorb souls and it seems to be very powerful. The only thing that seems to be able to repel it, infact, that is, with me, was my ability to create fireon and use it for protection...but I doubt that will continue to be any good, soon. The more souls Talon's scythe gathers, the more powerful it becomes...and he, as well. It is likely that he will be able to kill me easily, soon...that is, if he doesn't send his servants after me, first, like the newly reborn Amber and whoever else there is..." He said, sighing.

Amy shifted her weight to one hip and she ran her fingers through her drenched hair, listening intently to this information, she need to figure out how she could protect herself from the creature, she narrowed her eyes to the fire comment, "hmmmmm....." thoughts reeled through her mind.

Zak would frown as he looked at her." I just...don't think it has a weakness, almost like its invincible...mabye if there was a way to drain the souls out of it, we could possibly change the odds, but it seems to be able to keep them in check pretty well." He said, shaking his head again as he sat on the edge of the rooftop, his legs now dangling over the edge. If she wanted to, she could push him off to his death and end his life...but, then again, why would she? He hadn't done anything wrong to her...had he?
