Drew was walking through the farmlands, kicking at the stones underfoot and scowling. He'd died six times today, all of them relatively quick and painless (and Ayva's fault). To most people that's be a good thing, and a little miraculous to boot, but for Drew it just meant that he was gearing up for a death was that exceptionally bad. Because of this he had decided to just head outside and get it all over and done with.

Khytheron was out in the farm-lands, standing in the middle of a swarm of flies and doing something al-together odd: He was slashing the pests out of the air with his massive sword... successfully.
After a little bit, he thrust the piece of metal into the ground with a yawn. If only there were somone with which to fight, rather than these practices. His silent prair was answered almost instantly when the psichotic swordsman caught sight of Drew. An odd smile hit the warrior's face.
hanging his sword on his back again, Khytheron began walking towards him. the newcomer refused, then the mercenary would simply force the fight on him.

Drew was half asleep so he didn't notice Khytheron until he was pretty close. He looked down at his shadow then looked up, "What you want?" he said, then saw the guy's sword and groaned, "Aw, you're shitting me, right? That how it's happening?"

"Well, that depends." Khytheron laughed, noting the person's reaction. This was bad, a person with no fighting spirit would present less than no challenge to the battle-hardened warrior, "On how badly you don't want to fight."
This was pathetic, somone who's first thoughts were 'I don't want this', before the challenge was even made no less, would be no fun to fight. This presented a dilema to Khytheron: whether or not to fight him anyways. This dilema, to be quite honest, had never happened before.

"It's the fighting I'm pissed off about, man, it's the fucking dying part of it that has me less than overjoyed about the whole deal." Drew said then sighed, "Oh, fine, whatever. I don't have a sword though, will a stick do?"

Khytheron, inside, was thunderstruck. Was this person confident enough in their skills to oppose his mighty weapon with a stick? This person an under-enthused master if this was the case! No matter, The mercenary had spent his entire life killing, this would be the same.
"Of course."

Drew shrugged, "Okay then. Unless it's okay if I can use my gun, though that might be a bit unfair." he jerked a thumb at the shotgun holstered across his back. "You knowm considering everything."

The swordsman laughed, drawing his collossal blade, Lux, again. "Go ahead, It's been a while since I've had a good match. I don't think the gun will make that much of a difference, though." His usual arogance shone through his actions and words.

Drew shrugged and drew his shotgun, loading it with a scatter shot. He held it at the ready, "Start fighting at the count of three then?" he said and began to count, "One, two..." At two he shot at Khytheron.

seemingly in an instant, the collossal piece of metal was inbetween Khytheron and Drew with the flat facing either way. Bits of metal riccochetted in all directions. One could practically sense the warrior's hate beginning to bubble up even from the other side of the blade.
"Three!" He charged towards Drew, blade still flat in-between them holding it up-side-down so that the full length of the blade was in-front of his body. This wasn't a slash so much as an exessively violent ram. But with the shear sise of the weapon, that would be enough for a first attack. Or so he thought.

Drew ducked out of the way quickly, but he didn't move far or fast enough and the ramming-attack cut through his upper arm and cracked at least two ribs. Drew grimaced in pain; despite him feeling much less pain than a standard human that attack was more than enough to really hurt.
His arm dropped to the ground, stilling holding his gun. Drew picked the gun up hastily, shaking his already mouldering arm off it and trying to get a grip on it again.

After that attack, Khytheron stood there flabbergasted: never before had he seen a removed limb dissintigrate: let alone grow back. Then a smile hit his face as he realised what this meant: he had found the perfect sparring partner: a person who could be cut a massive number of times without dying.
After about point one secconds of deliberation, Khytheron this time elected not to take the oppening. If the arm that heald the weapon would just grow back, what about the gun its-self? No, a destroyed weapon would be an unsatisfactory victory... Khytheron would do as he had at first intended: wait for a new opening and lop off the man's head.
"Pull yourself together man!" the warrior laughed, once again putting his sword in-between himself and the gunman.

Ooc: I love his thought process. Perfect sparring partner! XD
"Aw, that's just a very bad pun, " Drew said, rolling his eyes, "What's next, that I'm 'armless? Put some fucking thought into it!" he snapped. Someone should probably have told him that when you're fighting you should shut up and not let your guard down because as he spoke he relaxed his arm slightly and left a perfect opening for Khytheron.

Khytheron took the openning, spinning on the balls of his feet and bringing the sword around quickly in an attempt to lop off the opponent's head. Rule number one to a fight: never talk while your opponent can still attack.

As Khytheron wanted, Drew's head was chopped off. It went flying, landing on the dusty ground and bouncing until it rolled into a patch of grass, leaving splatters of blood behind. Drew's body collapsed to the ground shortly after.
Drew's head groaned and made a face, "I hate that."

Khytheron's eyes went wide. Talking, decapitated enemies were never things that the former-mercenary liked. Not something he saw regularly at any rate. Then the grin was there again. Resilient sparring partners were good: invincible ones were better.
"Don't lose your head, my jokes aren't THAT terrible." He walked up to the annoyed mirracle, "On a more serious note, although you verry clearly can't be killed; actually, because you can't be killed, you get careless. I would also reccomend something with more rounds and penetrating power than a shot-gun." He yawned, "Would you like me to put you next to your body?"
He found it very annoying that somehow his head-count had gone up without his kill ratio doing the same. Oh well, He'd killed enough people to more than make up for it.

"Nah, I'm fine. Just close your eyes, okay?" Drew said, sighing. His body started to rot away into a grey dust and in a few minutes was gone, leaving only his clothes. As that happened a new one started to grow from his head, forming muscles and joints at an incredible rate. Once it was finished his body looked as though nothing had ever happened to it. He was also butt naked.
Drew ran over to his clothes, shaking out any dust remaining and pulling them on quickly, just in case Khytheron turned out to be a bit lecherous in that department.

Khytheron was whiping the blood off of his sword, very intently. The weapon was so huge that he used a towel rather than a strip of cloth. Needless to say that he was intent enough upon this action that he never looked at Drew. "Tell me when you're done, whould you?"

Drew grunted in response, putting on his socks. He pulled his t-shirt over his head, followed by his jacket and fished a carton of cigarettes out of it, pulling out out with his teeth. He held it between his lips, "Hey, you wouldn't happen to have a light, would you?" he asked, rummaging for a lighter.

Khytheron stood up and grabbed some hay and a piece of flint from the ground as he pulled a knife off his belt. "No, but I can make one."
He twisted the pieces of hay together and then struck the flint with the knife so that the sparks would land on the newly-twisted hay.
Once the end cought fire, Khytheron held out the make-shift fire-starter for Drew to take, "Use this."

Drew took it gingerly, just in case his hand caught fire or something equally stupid. He lifted it to his face just as carefully and lit his cigarette, taking a deep drag of it. He held the burning hay out at arms length, waving it about to try quench the flame, "So, uh, how do I stop it?"

Khytheron took his sword and slashed a little bit into the ground, then took the straw and shoved the flaming end into the hole, smothering it. "smother it some-how. There are a bunch of different ways, but this is the easiest for me."
The mercenary looked over at the gunman, "So... here's the question. Why can't you die? Most things don't talk to me when I cut their heads off."

"I can't die because about ninety fucking years ago my douchebag of a great grandad or whatever thought it'd be hilarious to do something so stupid that all his family got cursed. The curse is to never really die, but sort of die all the time. You cutting off my head was about... Seventh time today. The others were mostly Ayva. And tacos." Drew said then shuddered, "Eugh, tacos."

Once again, the fighter found himself highly confused. Silently, he prayed that everyone at this school didn't mess with his mortal head so much.
"Tacos?"

"Yes, tacos. You know, minced Mexicen shit in twisted crispy piss crackers? You know, those things. How the fuck do you not know what they are, huh? They're practically a food group by themselves." Drew said, rolling his eyes.

"It's simple, I got food poisoning. But it's not really that what killed me.." he said and winced, "I spent an hour throwing up before I slipped on the tiles and cracked my head off the toilet bowl. Not the best way to go."

"Alright, if you insist." Khytheron thought about all of the different modes of conversation before selecting one, "Is there anyone else at this accademy that won't die when they're decapitated?"
