Destiny took the feather gingerly, careful not to fall off Zede. She looked closely at it. She felt a strange falling sensation and reflected in the feather she could see a city of white stone, with towering skyscrapers painted with the light of the sunset. Burning on each skyscraper were two intertwined flames, one white, one blue.
"Whoah." she leant back. "That was weird. Was that enough gazeyness?"

Zede seemed to smile lightly and then stared entently at the black and red corpse. "Can we go now?" she asked in a low growl. "I want alora back..."

Mirri saw the image and said nothing of it. "Yes." The feather began growing long tendrils of bluish purple that reached out to grab Tyba's corpse in a sudden quick movement. The tendrils looked like poisonous goop that licked up the body all over. The corpse's eyes and mouth started to glow a bright white light and a light shot up to the sky and then his body started to morph. It was something unreal, and unimaginable, and the air above tyba seemed to shimmer. "You have to jump over him..." Mirri said simply, "And these bodies will fall asleep."

Destiny pocketed Mirri then held on tightly. "Here goes nothing then," she squeaked, burying her face into Zede's fur again. "Please don't drop me!"

Zede let out an excited growl as she leeped over him and then a flash, she looked diffrent she felt diffrent...in the dream world she wasnt a wolf but a deer like creature with a single horn. She was just as large and agile, but diffrent none the less. In the realworld her body made a crash as it landed on the ground completely alseep.

The Dream world was a moving, transforming place. Where they were seemed to be a warehouse type place, completely empty. It had tall walls made of what looked like cheap curved metal. Mirri knew if one touched it they wouldn't feel it. It might feel hot, or cold, but wouldn't have a true sense of touch associated with it. It smelt?... hmm, what did it smell like. The inside of one's nostril. The Room you are in at this very second. Anything. It was like you had trouble consentrating, as nothing seemed solid or to be where it was before. Everything is moving, switching on you. A single blink and the tall ceiling might be quite low, or low enough for you to consider ducking as you go out the small white door to your right... was that there before? "You go through." Mirri told them simply. "And once there, I would be quite useful of you all to attempt to think of pleasant things. Pessimists have a dreadful time in this place. They all Die..." Her voice was careless more than it was morose.

"Oh, I'll have no problem with that!" Destiny said cheerily before she looked at herself. Instead of a skinny little blonde prat she was now an (admittedly skinny) firebird. She was made of a vapourous white flame with her tail feathers, primaries and secondaries fading into black.
She turned around, lifting up her wings (neither of which were broken now). "Hey hey hey, what the fuck here, huh? I got wings!"

Zede let out a laugh as she looked around in this strange smokie place. "yea? im a deer!" she laughed agin as she stalked on. The place was chaotic constantly changeing...it made ze's head spin lighlty. "Ok mirri where is she?"

Mirri gave a small sigh, "You have to go through that white door. As you do, think of Black places. Dim torches. Huge tapestries... A Castle. Try not to think of Pits of muck and sand pits and dungeons, although I don't blame the place if they show up anyway. There will be what appears to be people there, but do not trust them... If you do you only fall into their traps and stay there forever. Be careful or you'll never wake up." She said seriously. When Destiny became a bird, Mirri's feather became one on her right wing. She stood out by her reflective sheen and her tendency to glow with power.
Where they would be headed would be different for each of them. It would have the same general layout but certain details, unless discussed, would be different for both of them. Mirri had the disadvantage of only seeing through Destiny's eyes, and so she knew nothing of what the deer-like creature representing Zede would be witnessing...

Destiny flapped her wings experimentally, lifting several feet off Zede. She stopped flapping and landed back on Zede's back with a bump.
"Whoa whoa whoa! I'm gonna need more practice... Okay, a castle? Um... Um... Like stained glass windows and big stairs and really huge rooms with fancy chairs in? I can do that." She closed her eyes, trying to think of castles.

Zede's eyes narrowed in thought. She thought of the dingy ones that the bat clan would dwell in at her home land. She let out a loud snort as she kept progressing onward.

Their thoughts suddenly seemed to come alive. They seemed to shift and change and then stop, as if they were solid and wouldn't change again. Nothing was exactly the same when you took you eye away from it though, even for a second. The feather on Destiny's wing felt warm and at ease as she saw the splendid room ahead of her. While for Zede, it was probably quite like those 'dingy' bat castles of her own world. It would be another few doors before they came into the Throne room. Mirri thought for a moment. She didn't sense anyone here just yet... "You go down the hall that you will invent ahead of you. Best you start learning how to control this place. Make the Hall..." She said forcefully, her voice sounding strangely soft at the same time.

Destiny started thinking of grandiose halls of white stone, with blue and white banners and dark blue carpets on the pale marble floor. In her mind's eye she saw stained glass windows that reached higher than she could see and courtiers dressed in fine silk clothing with heavy silver and sapphire jewellery.
"Am I doing okay, Mir?"

Mirri made a small noise of affirmation, "Yes, you are doing fine... Now Zerda, What is it that you are seeing?" She asked, curiously. She paused suddenly, as in the back of her mind she felt that coldness, and yet that familiarity... "Something is here...Whoever it is, do not trust it." She said calmly, in a sort of monotone herself. Her silver feathery form glowed a little brighter now with anticipation. She was, after all, relying on these people to bring her to Alora so she might grant her the previous form...
